Many people are daunted by the thought of taking legal advice. I don’t believe in jargon and I’ll come to you if that’s easier. We are all more comfortable in our own homes.
I can help with all matters of estate planning, including the preparation of wills, understanding and planning for inheritance tax and nursing home care fees. I also deal with issues surrounding capacity, such as the preparation of Lasting Powers of Attorney and applications to the Court of Protection in circumstances where a person has lost capacity to deal with their own affairs.
I also deal with the administration of estates, whether straightforward or more complex involving business interests.
I am a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP), Solicitors for the Elderly (SFE) and I am also a MENCAP recommended solicitor who advises parents/carers of those with learning disabilities on the preparation of wills.
